Surf & Turf Steak with Garlic Butter Shrimp, Mashed Potatoes & Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients
For the Steak

2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1-inch thick)

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, smashed

½ onion, sliced

½ red bell pepper, sliced

½ green bell pepper, sliced

Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Shrimp

½ lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp lemon juice

Salt & pepper, to taste

For the Mashed Potatoes

4 medium potatoes, peeled & cut into chunks

3 tbsp butter

¼ cup warm milk (more if needed)

Salt & pepper, to taste

For the Asparagus

1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

1 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt & pepper, to taste
