Ingredients (Serves 4)
8 slices brioche or challah bread (thick cut)
4 large eggs
1 cup milk (or half-and-half for richer flavor)
½ cup pumpkin puree
¼ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Butter for cooking
Maple syrup, whipped cream, and extra cinnamon for serving
