Pumpkin Pie French Toast

1. Make the Custard

In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.

2. Soak the Bread

Dip each bread slice into the custard mixture, coating both sides. Let it soak for 15–20 seconds per side so it absorbs the pumpkin flavor.

3. Cook

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt butter.
Cook each slice for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

4. Serve

Stack slices on a plate, drizzle with maple syrup, and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.

Tips and Variations

Use day-old bread for best texture.

Add crushed pecans or walnuts on top for crunch.

For extra indulgence, drizzle with cream cheese glaze instead of syrup.
