Ingredients
1 lb (500 g) fresh Italian sausage (removed from casing)
3.5 oz (100 g) stale bread (soaked in milk and squeezed)
½ cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Breadcrumbs, if needed for texture
Olive oil (for frying or baking)
Optional: Simple tomato sauce for serving
