Ingredients (Serves 6)

1 lb Polish kielbasa, sliced into ½-inch rounds

3 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or egg noodles) or 3–4 medium potatoes, diced and parboiled

1 tbsp butter or olive oil

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

1/2 cup milk

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
