Crispy Breaded Mushrooms

Tender on the inside, ultra-crispy on the outside—these homemade breaded mushrooms are a golden delight that will convert even the most skeptical veggie eaters. Coated in a flavorful seasoned breadcrumb crust and fried to perfection, they’re incredibly addictive and even better when dipped in sauces like aioli, lemony yogurt dip, or smoky barbecue.

 Ingredients:

For the mushrooms:

  • 500g (about 1 lb) button mushrooms (small to medium)

  • 2 eggs

  • 80g (2/3 cup) all-purpose flour

  • 100g (1 cup) breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

  • 1 tsp sweet paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Oil for frying (sunflower or peanut oil)
