Ingredients (6–8 Streuseltaler)
For the dough:
500 g (4 cups) all-purpose flour
1 packet (7 g) dry yeast
75 g (⅓ cup) sugar
250 ml (1 cup) lukewarm milk
75 g (5 tbsp) softened butter
1 egg
Pinch of salt
For the streusel topping:
125 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour
75 g (⅓ cup) sugar
100 g (7 tbsp) cold butter, cubed
1 tsp vanilla sugar (or a few drops vanilla extract)
For the glaze:
100 g (¾ cup) powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp milk
