Ingredients:

  • 100 g (½ cup) butter, softened

  • 150 g (¾ cup) sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 150 g (1¼ cups) all-purpose flour

  • 1½ tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2–3 medium apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

Topping:

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp melted butter
