Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare Fruit
Toss sliced apples with lemon juice, ¼ cup granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread evenly into the baking dish.
Make the Topping
In a bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, remaining granulated sugar, and salt.
Cut in cold butter with a pastry cutter or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Assemble
Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.
Bake
Bake for 40–45 minutes, until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
Serve
Enjoy warm, plain or with ice cream/whipped cream.
