Triple Cheese Bacon Ranch Melt

Ingredients

For the Melt

  • 8 slices thick-cut bacon

  • 1–2 cups cooked chicken OR sliced steak (optional but amazing)

  • 4 slices bread (Texas toast, sourdough, or brioche work best)

  • Softened butter for spreading

Triple Cheese Blend

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella

  • ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack
    (or use provolone if you prefer)

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp ranch dressing

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Optional: ½ tsp smoked paprika


Instructions

1. Cook the Bacon

  1. Cook bacon until crispy.

  2. Drain on paper towels.


2. Prepare the Sauce

Mix together:

  • ranch

  • mayo

  • garlic powder

  • paprika (optional)
    Set aside.


3. Build the Melts

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.

  2. On the other side, spread the ranch sauce.

  3. Add a handful of the triple cheese blend.

  4. Add bacon strips.

  5. (Optional) Add warm sliced chicken or steak.

  6. Add more cheese on top.

  7. Close the sandwich, buttered side facing out.


4. Cook

  1. Heat a skillet on medium-low.

  2. Place the sandwiches in the pan.

  3. Cook until golden brown and cheese melts (about 3–4 minutes per side).

  4. Press lightly with a spatula for an extra melty result.


Serve With

  • Fries

  • Potato wedges

  • Ranch for dipping

  • Pickles

  • Coleslaw


Tips

  • Slow heat = maximum melt with no burning.

  • Add jalapeños or pepper jack for a spicy version.

  • Use garlic butter on the bread for extra flavor.
