Instructions
Prepare the Chicken
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Sear the Chicken
Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add chicken and sear 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce
In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add brown sugar and soy sauce, stirring until the sugar melts into a thick glaze.
Combine
Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over it.
Let simmer for 2–3 minutes until chicken is well coated and glazed.
Serve
Garnish with parsley or green onions.
Serve hot with rice, roasted potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
Tips
For extra depth, add a splash of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice to the sauce.
Use chicken thighs for juicier meat.
Double the sauce if you love it extra sticky!
