Instructions
Make the Meatballs: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, mix ground meat, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, Worcestershire, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Shape into small meatballs and bake 15–20 minutes, until cooked through. (Or heat pre-made meatballs.)
Cook the Noodles: Boil egg noodles until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet, melt butter. Whisk in flour to make a roux. Slowly whisk in beef broth and cook until thickened. Stir in sour cream, cream, Dijon, and Worcestershire. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Assemble the Bake: Toss noodles in the sauce, then transfer to a greased 9×13 baking dish. Nestle in the meatballs and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Bake: Bake uncovered at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve warm with a green salad or roasted vegetables.
