Southern Style Cheeseburger Pie

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.

Cook beef & onions: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onions until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat. Season with salt and pepper.

Assemble the base: Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the pie dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.

Mix topping: In a bowl, whisk together milk, Bisquick, and eggs until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the beef and cheese.

Bake: Place in oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.

Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes, slice into wedges, and serve with optional burger condiments like ketchup, mustard, or pickles.
