SLICED BAKED POTATOES

Instructions

Preheat the oven

Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and scrub potatoes.

Place each potato between two wooden spoons or chopsticks and slice thinly (about ⅛ inch), stopping just before cutting all the way through. This keeps the base intact and creates the signature fan effect.

Season

Mix melted butter with garlic, paprika, thyme (or rosemary), salt, and pepper.

Brush generously over the potatoes, making sure to get some between the slices.

Bake

Place potatoes on the baking sheet and bake for 45–60 minutes, basting once or twice with the seasoned butter until edges are crispy and centers are tender.

Finish

Sprinkle Parmesan over the potatoes during the last 10 minutes of baking for extra flavor (optional).

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Serving Idea: Pair with steak, roasted chicken, or even enjoy them as a snack with sour cream or garlic dip.
