Shrimp, Sausage & Potatoes Stew

Instructions

1. Cook the Sausage

  • In a large pot, add sliced sausage and cook until browned.

  • Remove and set aside, leaving the flavorful grease in the pot.

2. Sauté the Vegetables

  • Add butter, onion, and garlic.

  • Cook 2–3 minutes until fragrant.

3. Add Potatoes

  • Stir in the diced potatoes.

  • Season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt & pepper.

4. Pour in Broth

  • Add the chicken broth.

  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 15–20 minutes, until potatoes are tender.

5. Add Sausage & Shrimp

  • Return the sausage to the pot.

  • Add shrimp and cook 3–5 minutes, until shrimp are pink and cooked through.

6. Taste & Serve

  • Adjust seasoning if needed.

  • Garnish with parsley or green onions.

Serve hot with cornbread, crusty bread, or rice!
