Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:
Trim the stem ends, remove any damaged outer leaves, and slice each sprout in half.

  3. Season:
In a bowl, toss the sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).

  4. Roast:
Spread them out in a single layer on the baking sheet, cut side down. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.

  5. Finish and Serve:
Drizzle with balsamic vinegar or lemon juice for brightness (optional). Serve immediately.

Tips

  • For extra crispiness, don’t overcrowd the pan — use two baking sheets if needed.

  • Add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan or crumbled bacon before serving for more flavor.

  • You can also toss them with honey or maple syrup for a sweet-savory twist.
