Recipe: Baked Italian Sub Sandwiches

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Assemble the sandwiches:
Slice rolls open and layer ham, salami, pepperoni, and 2 slices of provolone in each. Add banana peppers if you like.

  3. Make the topping:
Mix melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, Parmesan, and Italian dressing.

  4. Brush generously over the tops of the rolls.

  5. Wrap sandwiches in foil and place on a baking sheet.

  6. Bake 12–15 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and the subs are hot.

  7. Optional:
Open the foil and bake 2–3 minutes uncovered for extra toasted tops.

  8. Serve immediately — feel free to add lettuce and tomato after baking.
