Pistachio-Crusted Brie Bites

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Brie:
Cut the Brie into small cubes (about 1-inch). Place them on a parchment-lined plate and chill in the freezer for 15–20 minutes to firm up slightly — this helps with coating.

  2. Make the coating:
In a small bowl, mix chopped pistachios with honey and olive oil (or butter) until the mixture sticks together slightly.

  3. Coat the Brie:
Roll each chilled Brie cube in the pistachio mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

  4. Chill or bake (optional):

    • Chilled version: Serve cold as creamy, nutty bites.

    • Baked version: Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes, until slightly soft and warm.

  5. Serve:
Arrange on a platter, drizzle with a bit more honey, and sprinkle with fresh thyme if desired. Serve with crackers or sliced apples.

Tip:
For a festive twist, add a touch of orange zest or crushed dried cranberries to the pistachio coating — it adds beautiful color and flavor!
