Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and salt until smooth.
Slowly add the warmed milk while whisking continuously.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour the custard mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Lightly sprinkle nutmeg over the top.
Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
Allow to cool completely before slicing. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Tip:
For extra richness, use half milk and half heavy cream. A dash of cinnamon can also be added for a cozy
