Instructions
Make the filling:
In a large bowl, beat together peanut butter and butter until smooth.
Add powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs; mix until well combined and dough-like.
Shape:
Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (this makes dipping easier).
Melt chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with shortening in 30-second bursts, stirring each time until smooth.
Dip:
Using a fork or toothpick, dip each ball into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
Return to parchment-lined sheet.
Set:
Chill until chocolate is firm, about 1 hour.
Tips for Perfection:
For extra crunch, stir chopped roasted peanuts into the filling.
Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor or white chocolate for a sweet twist.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for longer storage.
