Mexican Shrimp Cocktail (Cóctel de Camarones)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the sauce: In a large bowl, combine tomato juice, ketchup, lime juice, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.

  2. Add vegetables: Stir in onion, tomato, jalapeño, and cucumber.

  3. Add shrimp: Fold in the shrimp until well coated in the sauce.

  4. Chill: Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes to let the flavors blend.

  5. Add avocado and cilantro: Just before serving, gently mix in diced avocado and cilantro.

  6. Serve cold: Pour into glasses or bowls and garnish with a shrimp on the rim and a lime wedge.
