Magical 30-Minute Dorito Casserole

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C).

Cook Meat: In a skillet, brown ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and ¼ cup water; simmer 2 minutes.

Mix Sauce: In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and salsa (or Rotel). Stir into the beef mixture.

Prepare Doritos: Lightly crush half the bag of Doritos and spread them in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Layer Casserole:

Spread half the beef mixture over Doritos.

Sprinkle 1 cup shredded cheese.

Add remaining beef mixture.

Top with the rest of the cheese.

Bake: Place in oven for 20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Finish: Sprinkle with remaining crushed Doritos just before serving for maximum crunch.

Serve: Garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, or sour cream if desired.

Tips & Variations:

Make it spicy: Use spicy Doritos or add extra jalapeños.

Make it creamy chicken-style: Swap beef for shredded rotisserie chicken.

For a layered lasagna effect, alternate multiple layers of Doritos, beef mixture, and cheese.
