Instructions
1. Make the Meat Filling
Heat a skillet over medium-high.
Add ground beef and onion; cook until browned.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Stir in taco seasoning and water.
Simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.
Season to taste.
2. Assemble the Pockets
Lay a tortilla flat.
Add a spoonful of beef mixture to the center.
Top with shredded cheese and any optional add-ins.
Fold the tortilla edges inward to create a sealed “pocket” shape.
Press firmly so it holds.
3. Cook the Pockets
Heat a little oil or butter in a skillet.
Place pockets seam-side down.
Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
Cheese should be melted and inside should be hot.
4. Serve
Serve with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
