Italian Antipasto Squares

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2: Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan.

Step 3: Layer the ham, provolone cheese, Swiss cheese, salami, pepperoni, and roasted red peppers over the dough in an even stack.

Step 4: Lightly beat the eggs in a bowl, then stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper.

Step 5: Pour about three-fourths of the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.

Step 6: Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and place it on top, sealing the edges gently.

Step 7: Brush the remaining egg mixture over the top layer of dough for a golden finish.

Step 8: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Step 9: Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 to 20 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the dough is fully cooked.

Step 10: Let it cool slightly before cutting into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
