Melt the peanut butter
Warm it gently in a saucepan over low heat (or in the microwave for a few seconds) until smooth and pourable.
Mix with the cereal
Pour the melted peanut butter over the Rice Krispies in a large bowl.
Stir gently until the cereal is evenly coated.
Shape into bars
Line a rectangular dish with parchment paper.
Spread the mixture into the dish and press down lightly with an oiled spatula (don’t press too firmly, so they stay crunchy).
Let set
Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Cut into squares or bars and enjoy!
Extra tip: For a sweeter, more classic version, add a third ingredient like honey, corn syrup, or melted marshmallows.
