Instructions
Step 1 – Make the Creamy Rice
Rinse rice under cold water until water runs clear.
In a saucepan, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until tender (about 15 minutes).
Once cooked, stir in butter, cream, Parmesan, and season with salt and pepper. Keep warm.
Step 2 – Cook the Chicken Bites
Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Step 3 – Make the Honey Garlic Sauce
In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Bring to a gentle simmer.
If a thicker sauce is desired, stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until glossy and slightly thickened.
Return chicken to skillet, tossing until fully coated in sauce.
Step 4 – Assemble & Serve
Spoon creamy rice into bowls or plates.
Top generously with honey garlic chicken bites.
Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
Tip: For extra flavor, add steamed broccoli, snap peas, or roasted carrots on the side for a full balanced meal.
