Instructions
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook pasta until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
Prepare the Steak Bites
Pat steak cubes dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steak bites in batches (about 2 minutes per side) until browned but still tender.
Add garlic and remaining 1 tbsp butter to the pan, tossing to coat steak bites.
Remove and set aside.
Make the Cajun Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.
Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute to form a roux.
Slowly whisk in heavy cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Stir in Parmesan, Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Adjust with salt/pepper.
If sauce is too thick, loosen with reserved pasta water.
Combine Pasta & Sauce
Toss the cooked pasta in the Cajun Alfredo sauce until evenly coated.
Serve
Plate the pasta and top with garlic butter steak bites.
Garnish with fresh parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan.
Tip: For extra Cajun flair, add sautéed bell peppers and onions into the Alfredo sauce before tossing the pasta.
