Dolly’s Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease a 9×13 baking dish.

2. Layer the Chicken

  • Spread the cooked shredded chicken evenly in the dish.

  • Season lightly with pepper or garlic powder if you like.

3. Mix the Creamy Sauce
In a bowl, stir together:

  • Cream of chicken soup

  • Sour cream

  • Chicken broth

Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken.

4. Prepare the Stuffing Topping
In another bowl:

  • Add the dry stuffing mix

  • Pour melted butter over it

  • Toss until coated (don’t fully soak it; you want texture)

5. Assemble

  • Sprinkle the buttery stuffing evenly over the creamy layer.

6. Bake

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and golden brown on top.

7. Serve
Let it rest 5 minutes, then scoop and enjoy!
