Deep-Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Wonton Bites

Instructions

Make the cheesecake filling

In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Gently fold in diced strawberries (or swirl in strawberry preserves).

Assemble the wontons

Place 1 wonton wrapper on a flat surface.

Add about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center.

Lightly brush the edges with beaten egg, then fold into a triangle or bundle, pressing edges firmly to seal.

Heat oil

In a deep skillet or pot, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the bites

Fry wontons in small batches for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

Remove and drain on paper towels.

Finish & serve

Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Drizzle with chocolate or strawberry sauce for extra indulgence.
