Instructions

Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Lightly grease or line a baking sheet.

Slice potatoes thinly (about 3–4 mm thick), but keep the base intact so the slices stay together. You can place chopsticks alongside the potato as you cut to avoid slicing all the way through.

Season: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture generously over and between the potato slices.

Bake for 45–55 minutes, brushing with more butter halfway through, until the edges are crisp and the insides are tender.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Tips:

Swap butter for olive oil if you prefer a lighter option.

Sprinkle with Parmesan in the last 10 minutes for a cheesy crust.
