Classic Country Breakfast Plate

Instructions
1. Make the Buttermilk Biscuits

Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).

In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until mixture looks crumbly.

Add cold buttermilk, stir until just combined (do not overmix).

Turn dough onto a floured surface, gently pat to 1-inch thickness. Cut with a biscuit cutter.

Place on a baking sheet, bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown.

2. Prepare Sausage Patties

In a bowl, mix ground pork with spices until well combined.

Form into 6–8 patties.

Heat a skillet over medium heat, cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.

3. Scrambled Eggs

In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

Heat butter in a nonstick skillet over low heat.

Pour in eggs, gently stir and fold until soft and creamy. Remove from heat slightly before fully set.

4. Assemble Plate

Serve 2 biscuits, 2 sausage patties, a generous portion of scrambled eggs, and fresh tomato slices.

Optionally, add a glass of fresh orange juice for the classic diner touch.
