Instructions
Make the crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Refrigerate while you make the filling.
Prepare the filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla until well combined. Fold in whipped topping gently until no streaks remain.
Assemble: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
Add cherries: Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the top.
Chill:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is even better) before serving.
