Instructions
Cook the bacon
Place the bacon strips in a cold skillet (cast iron works best).
Turn heat to medium and cook until crispy, flipping occasionally.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Cook the sausage patties
In the same skillet (with some bacon fat for flavor), cook sausage patties over medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
Set aside, keep warm.
Fry the eggs
Add butter or a little oil to the pan.
Crack in the eggs and cook sunny-side-up (or your preferred style).
Season with salt and plenty of black pepper.
Serve
Arrange crispy bacon, sausage patties, and eggs on a plate.
Enjoy with toast, hash browns, or pancakes if you want to make it a full breakfast feast!
Homemade Sausage Patties (Optional)
If you want to make your own:
Mix ½ lb ground pork, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp paprika, ¼ tsp garlic powder, and a pinch of sage.
Shape into patties and fry as above.
