Classic American Breakfast Platter

Instructions:

Cook the Bacon & Sausage:

Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Cook bacon until crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.

In the same skillet, cook sausage patties until browned and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side. Keep warm.

Make the Pancakes:

In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter. Combine with dry ingredients and stir just until mixed (batter should be slightly lumpy).

Heat a lightly buttered griddle or skillet over medium heat. Pour about 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, flip, and cook until golden brown.

Prepare the Scrambled Eggs:

In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Pour in egg mixture and gently stir with a spatula until softly set and creamy.

Assemble the Platter:

Stack pancakes and top with butter and maple syrup.

Add scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and fresh strawberries to the plate.

Serve with a glass of orange juice.
