Prepare the pan
Line an 8×8 or 9×9 pan with parchment paper (for thicker bars) or a 9×13 pan (for thinner bars). -
Melt the chocolate mixture
In a saucepan over low heat, melt together:-
chocolate chips

peanut butter
-
butter
Stir until smooth and fully melted.

Add vanilla
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. -
Mix with cereal
In a large bowl, pour the chocolate mixture over the Rice Krispies.
Gently fold until everything is fully coated. -
Press into pan
Transfer mixture into your prepared pan.
Press down firmly with a spatula to make an even layer. -
Set
Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour, or let it sit at room temperature until firm. -
Slice & enjoy
Cut into squares and serve!
