Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Bites: A Decadent Two-Layer Treat!

Instructions

Prepare the brownie base:

  1. Preheat oven according to brownie mix instructions.

  2. Line an 8×8 or 9×9 pan with parchment paper.

  3. Prepare the brownie batter and pour it into the pan.

  4. Bake and let cool completely.

Heat-treat the flour (makes cookie dough safe):

  1. Spread flour on a baking sheet.

  2. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes or microwave in 30-second bursts until it reaches 165°F.

  3. Cool.

Make the cookie dough layer:

  1. Beat softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.

  2. Add milk and vanilla.

  3. Add flour and salt; mix until smooth.

  4. Fold in mini chocolate chips.

Assemble:

  1. Spread the cookie dough evenly over the cooled brownie layer.

  2. Chill for at least 1 hour for clean slicing.

  3. Cut into small squares or bites.
