Instructions
1. Cook the filling

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Add diced onion and cook until soft.

Stir in flour and cook 1 minute to make a roux.

Slowly whisk in chicken broth and milk until smooth and creamy.

Add chicken, mixed veggies, and seasonings.

Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
2. Assemble

Pour the creamy filling into a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Arrange biscuit pieces or puff pastry squares evenly on top.
3. Bake

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
Optional: Brush the top with melted butter after baking.
