Instructions
Step 1 – Prepare Meatball Mixture
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Mix gently until just combined (don’t overmix or the meatballs may be tough).
Step 2 – Stuff the Meatballs
Scoop out about 2 tbsp of the meat mixture and flatten it slightly in your hand.
Place a cube of mozzarella in the center.
Wrap the meat around the cheese, sealing it well to prevent leaks.
Repeat until all meatballs are formed.
Step 3 – Cook the Meatballs
Option 1 – Pan + Sauce:
Heat olive oil in a skillet. Brown meatballs on all sides.
Pour in marinara sauce, cover, and simmer 15–20 minutes until fully cooked.
Option 2 – Oven-Baked:
Place stuffed meatballs on a lined baking sheet.
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes, or until cooked through.
Serve with warm marinara sauce.
