Burrito Dogs (tortilla-wrapped hot dogs,)

Instructions

Warm the tortillas: Heat each tortilla in a skillet for about 20 seconds per side until soft and pliable.

Cook the hot dogs: Pan-fry, grill, or boil hot dogs until heated through.

Assemble:

Spread a thin layer of refried beans down the center of each tortilla (if using).

Sprinkle some cheese on top.

Place a hot dog in the middle.

Add a spoonful of salsa.

Wrap: Roll the tortilla around the hot dog like a burrito—fold in the sides and roll tightly.

Toast (optional): Heat a skillet with a little butter or oil. Place the wrapped burrito dogs seam-side down and cook until golden brown and crispy, flipping to toast all sides.

Serve: Garnish with sour cream, guacamole, and extra salsa for dipping.

These can also be baked at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes instead of pan-frying for a slightly lighter version.
