Instructions
Prep oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
Mash bananas: In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Stir in melted butter.
Mix wet ingredients: Add sugar, egg, and vanilla. Stir until fully combined.
Add dry ingredients: Sprinkle in baking soda, salt, and flour. Gently fold until just mixed — don’t overwork the batter.
Bake:
Pour batter into loaf pan and bake 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool & slice: Let rest 10 minutes before removing from pan, then cool on a wire rack before slicing.
