Baked Turkey Wings

Instructions:

  1. Prep the wings:
Pat wings dry and place them in a baking dish.

  2. Season:
Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, parsley, pepper, and salt.
Drizzle wings with oil/butter, then coat completely in seasoning.

  3. Add onions:
Scatter sliced onions over and around the turkey wings.

  4. Add broth:
Pour chicken broth into the bottom of the dish — this keeps the wings moist and creates a gravy.

  5. Cover & Bake:

    • Cover tightly with foil.

    • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1.5 hours, until tender.

  6. Uncover & Brown:
Remove foil and bake another 25–35 minutes until skin is golden and slightly crisp.

  7. Serve:
Spoon the pan gravy over the wings for extra flavor.

Tips:

  • Add bell peppers and celery for a full smothered-style dish.

  • Use smoked paprika for extra depth.

  • Add a packet of onion soup mix for even richer gravy.
