Instructions:
-
Prep the wings:
Pat wings dry and place them in a baking dish. -
Season:
Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, parsley, pepper, and salt.
Drizzle wings with oil/butter, then coat completely in seasoning. -
Add onions:
Scatter sliced onions over and around the turkey wings. -
Add broth:
Pour chicken broth into the bottom of the dish — this keeps the wings moist and creates a gravy. -
Cover & Bake:
-
Cover tightly with foil.
-
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1.5 hours, until tender.
-
-
Uncover & Brown:
Remove foil and bake another 25–35 minutes until skin is golden and slightly crisp. -
Serve:
Spoon the pan gravy over the wings for extra flavor.
Tips:
-
Add bell peppers and celery for a full smothered-style dish.
-
Use smoked paprika for extra depth.
-
Add a packet of onion soup mix for even richer gravy.
