Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks

Instructions:

1. Prep the Chicken:
Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels. This step is important to help the skin get crispy.

2. Season:
In a large bowl, mix the olive oil and all the seasonings:
paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and cayenne.

Add the drumsticks and toss well to coat evenly on all sides.

3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.

4. Cook the Drumsticks:
Arrange the drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving a little space between each piece.

Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 25 minutes, flipping the drumsticks halfway through (around the 12–13 minute mark), until:

Skin is crispy and golden brown

Internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C)

For extra crispy skin, air fry at 400°F (204°C) for the final 2–3 minutes.

5. Serve:
Let rest for 2–3 minutes. Serve hot with dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or hot sauce.

 Pro Tips:
Drying the chicken before seasoning ensures crispier skin.

For added flavor, marinate the drumsticks for 1 hour or overnight in the spice mix and olive oil.

Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure even cooking and crispiness.

Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
