Instructions
1. Make the Crust
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix crushed pretzels (or crackers), melted butter, and sugar.
Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
Bake for 10 minutes, then cool completely.
2. Prepare the Cream Layer
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
Fold in whipped topping.
Spread evenly over the cooled crust, making sure to seal edges (so the Jell-O won’t seep through).
3. Prepare the Strawberry Layer
Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Add cold water and let cool until syrupy (NOT fully set).
Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the cream layer.
Pour cooled gelatin mixture over the strawberries.
Refrigerate until fully set (4 hours or overnight).
4. Serve
Slice into squares and serve chilled.
Optional: top with a dollop of whipped cream and extra strawberries for presentation.
