Cream Cheese & Sausage Balls with Rotel

Description:

These sausage balls are extra tender thanks to cream cheese, loaded with cheddar, and packed with flavor from spicy sausage and Rotel tomatoes. They bake up golden on the outside and soft on the inside — a delicious twist on the classic sausage ball recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage (hot or mild)

  • 1 (8 oz / 225 g) block cream cheese, softened

  • 1 (10 oz / 283 g) can Rotel (drained very well!)

  • 1 ½ cups Bisquick or self-rising baking mix

  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • ½ tsp onion powder (optional)
