Mozzarella Stuffed Rosemary Parmesan Soft Pretzels
Description
These pretzels combine everything you love: the chewiness of soft pretzels, the melty surprise of mozzarella inside, and the aromatic crunch of rosemary and Parmesan on top. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or even alongside soup or pasta.
Ingredients (makes 8 pretzels)
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
1 ½ cups warm water (110°F/45°C)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
For boiling:
8 cups water
⅓ cup baking soda
Filling & topping:
8 sticks or cubes of mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp butter, melted
Coarse salt, for sprinkling
