Ingredients
For the Soup:
6 slices bacon, chopped
1 medium onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
4–5 fresh jalapeños, seeded and diced (leave some seeds if you like it extra spicy)
4 cups chicken broth
1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp cumin
Salt & pepper, to taste

8 slices bread
4 tbsp butter, softened
2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
