Instructions:
Melt the chocolate:
Break the chocolate into pieces and place it in a heatproof bowl. Pour the hot water over it and stir until fully melted and smooth.
Whip the mixture:
Set the bowl over a larger bowl filled with ice cubes. Whisk continuously for about 5–8 minutes until the mixture thickens into a mousse-like texture.
Chill and serve:
Spoon into dessert cups and refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
Result:
You’ll get a velvety, intensely chocolatey mousse that feels like a fine-dining dessert — without cream, eggs, or fancy equipment.
